I have always wanted to make a dirndl for my Heidi. With such a name, doesn't it follow that one needs a dirndl? While doing a unit study last fall on the book "Heidi" by Johanna Spyri, it seemed the time was right. Of course Hannah and the dolls couldn't be left out... and Levi got to dress like Peter the Goatherd. What fun to be surrounded by children of the Swiss alps on the flat, flat prairie!

Oh Shauna~ They are beautiful! And those dirndl's are Amazing too! Really. Your skills blow my socks off.
ReplyDeleteIt does my heart good to get a peek at your lovely daughters - I search their faces for the familiar that I love :-) 18 inch dolls are the rage around these parts too and both Susanna and Olivia are creating a miniature wardrobe that gives their girls quite a few dress options! What a fun stage to be at :-)
Loving you,
