There's a Canadian clothing company by the name of "Roots", and as that name holds special signifigance for me, I got my girlies some shirts there last week. Here's some pictures from our day yesterday.
How fun! We drop by your parents' house to drop off our rent check once a month, and the last time we went Hope, (my 3 yr. old) asked if we were going to see the "Weeds!"
Weeds, huh? What fun! Thanks for noticing the hair-do Analene. It takes a bit of time to put in, but it's the one way I'm guarenteed to not have to re-do it throughout the day to keep hair out of her face. Not only that, but she can sleep in it and it lasts for a few days. (Shh..don't tell...my children aren't bathed on a daily basis) The biggest reason I do it, though, is because it's Karl's favorite! Karl was home for the day because he had his upper wisdom teeth extracted so I took advantage of the situation and had him take a couple pictures with me in them. I took some of him too, but thought he might appreciate it if I didn't share his "chipmunk cheeks" with all of blogdom!
"Making messes is what Shaunas do best" my sisters used to sing when I still lived at home in California. Now that I'm living in Canada with my marvelous man and delightful daughters, my husband joins in the chorus. I love to learn and create. Sadly, many of the things I do involve messes and cleaning isn't my strong point! I started this blog as a way to keep far away family involved in our every day lives, but you're invited to join us if you don't mind the mess!
